The statement of PLC Asia and Australia is SPOT ON. However, we should be careful the way we use the term UNION , because NO UNION has been established between Ghana and Western Togoland, since neither Ghana nor Western Togoland can present an evidence of the establishment of a UNION between the two countries. Hence our demand that Ghana come down from her supposed pedestal and work with Western Togoland toward the establishment of a genuine UNION between the two countries, if Ghana is seriously inerested in a UNION, not an annexation. This should normally be a no-brainer for any well-intentioned party. The ball is Ghana’s court to do the right thing and help to avoid the recurrence of the kinds of socio-political jolts that we have been witnessing for over 60 years.
