THERE WERE SEVERAL UNIONS IN THE PAST

There were several unions in the past, The Soviet Union was one, The Ghana-Guinea -Mali Union was also one.

There are many Unions even today: The UK (Britain, Scotland and Ireland) is one, Tanzania?(Tanganyika and Zanzibar) is another, as well as the European Union which arguably is one of the largest body of free states.

We dare Ghana to proclaim she rejects the Union recommended by the UN in her Resolution 944, the Union the people of British Togoland voted for, the Union endorsed by the UN Resolution 1044 (XI), the same Union which the UK confirmed to the UN Secretary General which took effect from midnight of 5th/6th March 1957.

In fact Ghana cannot boldly do so because the whole world and indeed the commitee of nations would come to realize the criminal and clandestine conduct of Ghana in the affairs of Western Togoland.

The earlier Ghana took the necessary constitutional and democratic steps to effect these Resolutions and Procedures establishing that UNION, the better it would be for the stability and peaceful coexistence of the two states.
