GHANA’S SOVEREIGNTY CANNOT BE DIGNIFIED
WITHOUT RECTIFYING THE WRONGFUL INTEGRATION OF WESTERN TOGOLAND INTO GHANA
Every Ghanaian head of state both past and present, is aware of the fact that Ghana and Western Togoland are two different states. It is just unfortunate and disheartening that right from the time of Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah up till now, none of them is bold enough to take the initiative to correct that which went wrong.
Whereas Ghana’s current President, Nana Akufo Addo was able to tell the truth with only a slight distortion in his speech to commemorate Ghana’s 66th Independence anniversary parade held in the Volta Region on March 6, 2023, which inpso facto, should have been “A UNION DAY SPEECH,” as the opening paragraph of his speech sought to point out albeit with some distortions.
Ex-President John Mahama in interviews on some TV channels, decided to throw dust into the eyes of the public by denying the existence of a state (Western Togoland) whose Union with Ghana afforded him the opportunity to enjoy all ranks of social and political life in Ghana, and climbing to the highest level of the political ladder as Ghana’s Head of State(The Presidency)
It is sad, but that is how some “political lunatics” deny their roots and point directions to their strongholds with the left hand after several years of milking such strongholds dry with their “Politricks”
We can pardon him for hiding his ignorance about how he is viewed from outside himself but both John Mahama and Akufo Addo must be made to understand and stop contradicting themselves in the matter of the sovereignty of Ghana with Western Togoland which was forcefully integrated by the disruption of the unionization process with a bloody invasion mastermind by that “Political Criminal” Kwame Nkrumah backed by his British and UN collaborators, despite the loving decision of the people to go into union with the then Gold Coast upon the attainment of independence of same.
Indeed Akufo Addo and John Mahama are both leaders of the two main political parties in Ghana. The NDC and NPP are insincere as Great Britain and Kwame Nkrumah’ CPP at the time of that bloody invasion and forceful integration of Western Togoland territory.
All successive Ghanaian leaders allow their country to be looted by imperialists because they were bribed with a stolen territory. They are proud of stealing their own country, and unshamfuly call it territorial integrity.
Ghana is undoubtedly a Sovereign State whose territorial expanse was specified in her Independence Act of 1957. Western Togoland is another territory as truthfully stated by Nana Akufo Addo.
Successive Presidents of Ghana tried to consolidate the greedy deal of Kwame Nkrumah and the colonial powers by continually oppressing Western Togolanders and making them an inferior part of Ghana. That is the root of all agitations in the affairs of Western Togoland.
The remedy lies in what the People’s Liberation Council of Western Togoland (PLC) is calling for. “REGULARIZE THE UNION.”
All who love Ghana must collaborate to do this and free Ghana from the shackles of perpetual inheritance of the curse arising from the shedding of the blood of innocent Western Togolanders.
The more the process is delayed the greater the curse is multiplied with even dire consequences. This is why Ghana is failing to rise from the quagmire of incompetent governments and the mismanagement of it’s natural resources making the first country South of the Sahara to attain independence from colonial Britain to continue to crawl on its feet 66 years down the line.
Let Ghana repent, free herself from that Karma and enjoy a harmonious coexistence with Western Togoland now!
Let us be reminded once again that THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE THEY SAY IS THE VOICE OF GOD.
